Millstreet Town Square
This mural was commissioned by Cork County Council in association with Millstreet Tidy Towns. The location was an unpainted wall opposite the main square. The image is a painting of an archival photograph taken by Robert French in the late 19th early 20th century of the main street. The viewer is standing in the same position that the photograph was taken from giving a view of the changes in the town over time. Diarmuid Ó Suilleabháin mural
This mural was commissioned by the Ionad Culthúrtha Bailemhuirne Co. Cork to commemorate the renowned sean nos singer Diarmuid Ó Suilleabháin. The Ionad hosts Éigse Dhiarmuid Uí Suilleabháin a weekend of music and song to celebrate his influence on Irish music culture. Macroom Train Station Cork Street
This mural was commissioned by Cork County Council as part of a proposal to paint a series of murals depicting important points in Macrooms history. This particular mural shows the last train at Macroom station before it was closed on the 11th November 1953.
